The Edgefield Fire Department has acquired smoke detectors authorized by the Town Council at its May meeting and are prepared to install the equipment in the homes of citizens who apply for the assistance. The detectors and their installation are free to Edgefield citizens who can obtain and submit an application at the town hall.
