The 32^nd Ridge Spring Harvest Festival is during this month, October 24-26 with the Community Service on the 12^th and the Beauty Pageant on the 19^th.  The promoters of the festival went down memory lane to give insight into the first Harvest Festival, especially finding the photo of  Sen. Thurmond who came and hung around to meet all.  (“I got to meet him, too,” said one promoter, Harriet Householder.)

The Harvest Festival has continued to this day with games, bingo, parades, car show, country store, parades, cake and pie contest and more.  Everyone is invited to come join in.
