JOHNSTON, S.C. – Louise Johns Bryan, 75, of 1565 Pencreek Rd. died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Hospice Care of the Piedmont.
Born in Allendale County and a daughter of the late Mack and Irene Platts Johns, she was the wife of Fred Allen Bryan. Mrs. Bryan was a former employee of Knight Industries and Riegel and was a homemaker. She was a member of Red Bank Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and working with her flowers.
Surviving are her husband, Fred Allen Bryan of the home, two sons, Randy (Beverly) Bryan and Roger (Donna) Bryan both of Johnston, two brothers, E.P. Johns of Summerville and Buddy Johns of Kyzer, Ark, three sisters, Lucille Stokes of Johnston, Carolyn Pickienike of Edgefield and Annie Mae Turner of Estill, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah “Debbie” Holland and three brothers, Francis Johns, Gordon Johns and Lagree Johns.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 pm Wednesday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bob Woodyard officiating.
