Tuesday evening the Edgefield County Hospital hosted an appreciation dinner at Pine Ridge Club and they had the largest turnout ever for this yearly spring event. The enthusiasm among employees and board came through in the acceptance of gifts and the pledge of board and administrative personnel that the hospital would continue its service to the community with strength and growth in the coming year.
CEO Brandon Clary led the evening’s events, assisted by Leslie Seigler in the publicity department, which climaxed with a standing ovation for two of the employees who had continued at the hospital for 40 years, Fay Burton and Emma Burton.
The food added greatly to the energy felt in the dining room at Pine Ridge as a new board member, C. J. Davis, owner of Montana Decoys, was introduced among the others present.
