The rains came but Relay For Life, in its 11th year of raising funds in this county to fight cancer, was not dampened.  They moved inside to the gymnasium. Some of the booths remained on the front of Strom Thurmond High School, such as the jump castles. This was on Saturday, April 27. All in all it was successful, as seen in the photographs made for the Advertiser by Bill Hart. Note the faces of young and old as they share in the hope that comes from fighting cancer through raising funds for research.
