Ninety Six, S.C. – David Franklin “Frank” Williamson, 74, resident of 126 Eddy Road, husband of Judy Gibert Williamson died Tuesday, March 27, 2013 at Hospice House in Greenwood.
Born in Edgefield, September 11, 1938, he was a son of the late Joseph and Josephine Chavis Williamson. Mr. Williamson was retired from Belk where he worked in the Shoe Department for forty three years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his loving and devoted wife of thirty-nine years of the home are two daughters, Judy Elizabeth Yost and husband Justin of Johns Island and Donna Marie King and husband Eric of Charleston; three grandchildren, Connor Jacob King, Emma Adyson King and Gabrielle Elisabeth Yost; sisters, Frances Talbert and husband Pete and Gladys Brown and husband Charles; brothers, Clifford Williamson and wife Charlene and James Williamson and wife Pam, all of Edgefield. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 AM from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Hayes Riddle and Reverend Chris Harrison officiating. Private burial will follow the service at Greenwood Shores Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Brown, Joey Berry, Cliff Williamson, Michael Gibert, Mark Gibert and Caston Gibert.
Honorary escort will be the staff of NHC Healthcare of Greenwood and staff of Hospice Care of the Piedmont.
The family will receive friends Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the service hour.

The family would especially like to thank the staff of NHC Healthcare and the staff of Hospice Care of the Piedmont for their loving and compassionate care to Frank and his wife Judy throughout Frank’s illness.
