Lovers of Americana music will have another reason to celebrate Spring Break week and “that little golf tournament across the river” this year, as Edgefield plays host to its first-ever Purple Fence Jazz & Blues Mini-Festival.
The Purple Fence, a new visual and performing arts venue on the historic Edgefield Town Square, will host the two-day festival on Friday, April 12 and Saturday, April 13. Series badges go on-sale Monday, March 18 for $30, which includes admission to all three concerts of the mini-festival.
Advance tickets can be purchased at the Purple Fence (102 Courthouse Square), Edgefield Discovery Center and Mercy Me, all on the Courthouse Square in Edgefield; at the Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce in Johnston; and at the offices of WKSX-FM in Aiken, 203 Laurens Street SW.
The program for the mini-festival will include Professor Bottleneck and Frank Born and Dave Morgan and the Hollerers.
