WARD, S.C. – Barbara Ann Edwards, 69, of 103 Cassie Rd., died Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Saluda Nursing Center.

Born in Saluda County, she was the daughter of the late Willie W. and Juanita Adams Edwards. Ms. Edwards was retired from Mt. Vernon Mills in Johnston and was a member of Richland Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are five sisters, Callie Rae Scurry, Frances Goodman, Wynona Williams and Janie Berry all of Saluda and Margie McKinney of Edgefield, a brother, Johnny Edwards of Saluda and several nieces and nephews.

Two brothers, Harold Edwards and Haskell Edwards and two sisters, Martha Edwards and Madoline Berry preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Saturday evening at Ramey Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Richland Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Hurt Family Cemetery.
