Multiple thefts were reported on Naussa Pass in North Augusta (Edgefield County) last week.  According to reports filed with the Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office, the first theft was discovered Thursday morning, Aug. 4, when an employee with Action Landscaping Inc. arrived at the subdivision to find a work truck missing.  That employee stated that his company had been doing several jobs in the area and as such would leave their equipment and trucks parked along the roadway.  However, sometime during the hours between Wednesday and Thursday, a white 2000 GMC box truck was taken from the site.  The truck was further described as having the company’s logo in blue on the side.  Inside the truck was irrigation supplies as well as a trencher.  The truck and its contents was valued at $15,000.

Then Friday, Aug. 5, two thefts were reported in the same area; one at 505 and the other at 512 Naussa Pass.  In these instances, an oven and microwave were stolen from one site, and a refrigerator was stolen from the other.  Possible evidence was located at one scene and processed, and in each case, marks believed to have been caused in the moving of the appliances were discovered.  Items stolen were estimated to worth a total of $2450.  The cost of damages to the homes was listed as being $2000.
