Two golf carts were reported stolen in the North Augusta section of Edgefield County, Sunday, June 26.  According to ECSO reports of the thefts, one of the golf carts was stolen from a residence on Locust Drive sometime between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Sunday.  The other was stolen the same day from a residence on Gregory Lake Road between 9:45 that morning and 2:30 that afternoon.  Each golf cart was valued at $5,000.  One is described as a red EZ-GO cart with a windshield, white top, backseat, and all terrain tires.  This golf cart was also said to have a small dent on the front end.  The other golf cart is described as a lifted dark blue gas powered Club Car with black and chrome wheels, an aluminum chassis, and a CD player.  It was also stated that this golf cart has a busted left headlight.

The ECSO is investigating these crimes.
