Jerry Jerome Riggs, Sr., 75, husband of Frances Johnson Riggs, died Tuesday

January 12, 2016 at his residents

Graveside Services will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 at 2 PM at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Edgefield, S.C.

Mr. Riggs was born in Metter, GA and was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from the U.S. Air Force and was a retired Transportation Supervisor with the Veteran’s Administration.

Survivors include his wife, 2 daughters, Terri (Jimmy) Deal, Shay Riggs; 1 son, Jerry Riggs, Jr.; 2 Grandsons, Dakota Riggs, and Chase Riggs; 1 sister, Lois Deal; 3 nephews, John Deal, Jr., Craig Deal, and Bob Deal; 1 niece, Gail NeSmith. The family wishes to thank all of Jerry’s Caregivers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Friday at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
