FLAGLER BEACH, FLA. – Barbara L. Walsh, 71, passed away on December 10, 2015. Barbara was born in Miami, Florida on August 30, 1944 to Bartow L. Walsh and Catherine Stubbs Walsh. She moved to Flagler Beach in 2002 from Charlotte, N.C. Barbara received her Bachelor’s degree from Erskine College in South Carolina and her Master’s Degree from Florida International University. Barbara was an account analyst for Florida Power and Light, and Duke Power in North Carolina. After she retired, she remained a consultant for Dynegy Power Company. Barbara’s hobbies were traveling, reading, buying and selling antiques and going to estate sales.

Barbara is survived by her sisters, Libby Broadhurst and her husband, Drew of Flagler Beach, and Cathy Godfrey and her husband, Stan of Eutawville, S.C.

The family will receive friends at Bland Funeral Home in Johnston, South Carolina on Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2-3 o’clock. Interment will be private.

Memorials may be made in Barbara’s name to Humane Society, 121 Humane Ln. Columbia, SC 29209.
