The S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is offering a great opportunity for youth to attend a duck clinic on Jan. 18, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., in Georgetown County. The free clinic will introduce youth ages 10-17 to the basics of duck hunting. The clinic’s hands-on sessions include: game care and prep, duck calling, marksmanship skills, and how to keep it legal while hunting.
The first 25 that contact FSgt. Steve Simpson at simpsons@dnr.sc.gov and complete and return the application will be able to attend. The application will be sent by email after contact is made.
DNR will confirm your attendance by email with further instructions, so respond quickly for a slot. Lunch will be provided at this free event and parents/guardians are welcome to stay while their students participate.
