Raffle: From October 05 – 16 the Old Edgefield District Genealogical Society and the Edgefield Preservation Association is holding a Raffle for a chance for two lucky winner to take part in a Ghost Hunt(Paranormal Investigation) out at the Old Edgefield Chain Gang Jail on Oct 30th from 10pm to 2am.  All proceeds will go to both organisations and will be tax deductible. 15^th Annual Blessing of the Animals: The Episcopal Church of the Ridge will host this event, Sunday, October 11^, at 3:00 PM in the churchyard of Our Savior in Trenton (off Hwy 121 on Church St.) Bring your pet on a leash or in a carrier. Refreshments will be served to the congregation and their pets. The offering will be donated to our local food bank for help purchasing pet food.
