JOHNSTON, S.C. – Funeral Services for Mrs. Elaine Clark Humphries, age 87, will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11 o’clock in Mt. of Olives Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the gravesite following the service. Bland Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mrs. Humphries, widow of George Humphries, died Saturday, September 19, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Claude and Elizabeth Brunson Clark. For many years, she worked for C. M. Clark and Maxwell and Halford Drug Store. Elaine was a member of Johnston United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her son: Claude Humphries (Diane); grandchildren: Badge (Christy), Charlie (Caroline), Mac (Katy) and Jackie Humphries (Drew Karst); four great grandchildren and sister: Jewell C. Edwards. She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Dr. G. Badger Humphries, Jr.

Memorials may be made to Johnston United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 186, Johnston, SC 29832 and Edgefield County Hospital, 300 Medical Plaza, Edgefield, SC 29824.
