EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Margaret Huff Padgett, 95, of Edgefield, wife of the late Rev. R.E. (Ed) Padgett, died Saturday September 19, 2015.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday September 22, 2015 at 11 AM at Faith Temple Holiness Church in Saluda, SC with burial at Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield, SC.

Mrs. Padgett was born in Augusta, Ga. She was a retired Textile worker. She and her husband Rev. R.E. (Ed) Padgett were the founders of the Faith Temple Holiness Church where she was a member.

Survivors include 1 daughter Janice P. Whatley and her husband Payne; 1 son Robert E. (Bobby) Padgett, Jr. and his wife Mozelle; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son James E. Padgett.

The family is at the home and will receive friends on Monday September 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
