The Edgefield County’s Youth Football and Cheerleading program will start its signups this Saturday August 15. The Youth Soccer Program will begin signups next Saturday, August 22.   This fall the Department is offering Youth Football and Cheerleading for ages 6 to12 and youth soccer for ages 4-12.

The Football And cheerleading league will have Football Representatives set up at Bettis Park, Edgefield Town Gym and Johnston National Guard this Saturday (August 15 and next Saturday the 22) from 10 a.m. to noon taking signups.  We will also have a signup at Strom Thurmond High School on August 29.

There is a cost to play football or cheer this fall.  The deadline for football and cheerleading signups is Saturday, August 29.

The Edgefield County’s Youth Soccer League will have signups next Saturday August 22, and run thru September 5. Soccer representatives will be set up at the Soccer Complex in Edgefield from 10 a.m. to noon on August 22, August 29 and Sept 5. There is a cost to play soccer this fall is. The deadline for Soccer signups is Saturday, Sept. 12^th.

Also the Registration forms are available for download on the county website: www.edgefieldcounty.sc.gov  if you would like to print off a form and mail it in to the Recreation office.  You can also sign up at the County Recreation Office Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. over the course of the signup period.   If you have any questions about EC Recreation Department programs or registrations please call the recreation office at (803) 637-2621.
