EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Mr. Thomas C. (T.C.) Hammond, Jr., of Martintown Road, husband of Mildred Townes Hammond, died Monday June 22, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday June 25, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Peace Haven Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Hammond was a native of Edgefield County and was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church where he was a deacon. He was a retired Superintendant with Kuhlke Construction Company.

Survivors include his wife, 2 daughters- Jane (Ted) Griffin, Maribeth (Chip) Kreps; 1 Son-in-Law- Billy Reed; 4 Grandchildren- Austin (Tracy) Reed, Crafton Reed, Mallory Griffin, and Jay Griffin. Mr. Hammond was predeceased by a daughter Laura Reed.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
