LEXINGTON – Mrs. Mary Ellie Cartledge Tobin, 78, of Lexington, wife of the late Joseph Allen Tobin, M.D., died Saturday June 3, 2012.

Mrs. Tobin was born in Edgefield County and was a Retired Registered Nurse. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Lou Byrd Cartledge.

Survivors include 3 Sons- Patrick (Elizabeth) Tobin, Fort Mill, S.C., Kenneth (Susan) Stewart, Wilmington, N.C., Timothy Stewart, Columbia, S.C.; 1 Step-Son- Joseph Allen Tobin, Jr., Swansea, S.C.; 1 Brother- Billy  Cartledge, Columbia,S.C.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday June 6, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
