TRENTON, S.C. – Alex Rhoads, age 46, of Trenton, SC, entered into rest May 31, 2015 after teaching a poignant lesson to his family and friends on how to handle adversity of painful extended illness with humor and grace.

Mr. Rhoads was born in Toledo, Ohio and was the son of Carol J. Rhoads and the late Jackson E. Rhoads. The family moved to Trenton in 1979.

Alex left four children who are his legacy in every sense of the word, Bennett, Abby, Sarah, and Caroline Rhoads. He is also survived by his mother Carol and brother Andy.

Alex was past president of the Augusta chapter of Ambucs and he was the youngest Series 7 financial planner in the CSRA in the 90’s and most recently served as senior staffing manager for CVS Caremax.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2015 at 11 AM at Our Saviour Episcopal Church in Trenton, SC with burial in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the home on Pine House Road.
