NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Deanna Kimball Strawhorn-Yount, 43, of Coventry Court, entered into rest Sunday, May 17, 2015. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from Christian Heritage Church. Pastor Stephen D. Phillips officiating. Interment in Aiken Memorial Gardens.
Deanna was a lifelong resident of Aiken County and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina. She was enjoying her new career with Dr. Matthew Cook and the staff of Family Dentistry of Edgefield. Deanna actively volunteered at Wardlaw Academy where she was a substitute teacher and enjoyed watching her daughter and son participate in sporting events. She enjoyed reading, cooking, traveling, and riding her Harley Davidson.
Survivors include her husband of ten years, Mike Yount; two sons, Blake Thomas Strawhorn and Jarrett Michael Yount both of North Augusta; one daughter, Ashlyn Taylor Yount, North Augusta; her mother and step-father, Betty and Bruce Wood, Aiken; her father, Wayne Kimball, Aiken; two sisters, Christy Geddes and Misty Stutts, both of Aiken.
Pallbearers will be her family, Mike Yount, Blake Strawhorn, Jarrett Yount, Ashlyn Yount; special friends, Mike Bosh and Lewis Swearingen.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall from 12 noon until the time of the service.
