EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Walker Hett, 30, of Edgefield, entered into rest April 8, 2015. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mr. Hett was a life-long resident of Edgefield. He was a carpenter, an avid Gamecock fan and enjoyed fishing. He will always be remembered as being a loving and devoted father.

Survivors include his son, Jaxton Hett; his parents, Cindy Hett and Jerry Williams of Edgefield; a brother, Tyler Hett of Greer; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Riggs of Belvedere, an aunt and uncle, Mike and Carla Bates of Edgefield; two cousins, Nicole and Michael Bates.
