Governor Nikki Haley has declared March 8-14 Severe Weather Week. In response, the Edgefield County Emergency Management Agency will conduct a severe weather drill for all three towns in Edgefield County; Edgefield, Johnston, and Trenton.

These drills will occur on Monday, Mar. 9 at 12:00 and Wednesday, Mar. 11 at 9:00. Citizens are reminded that this drill will be signified by one long tone. In the event of inclement weather, the drill will be canceled.
