EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Naomi “Ooty” Doolittle Percival, 92, of Edgefield, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her home.
A private service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Red Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Preston Creech officiating.
Mrs. Percival was a born in Edgefield. She was the daughter of the late Henry Lee and Nancy Readen Doolittle. She was predecease by her husband Doug Percival, two brothers Cleveland and Carey Doolittle.
She was member of the Red Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was a retired textile worker and homemaker. For a number of years she made her home in Saluda.
Survivors include a very special friend Jack Gregory; a son Jimmy Percival; two brothers, J.L. Doolittle and Elvis “JoJo” Doolittle, Modoc; two sisters Lourie D. Hammond, Modoc, and Clarice D. Dyches, Williston; four grandchildren David, Doug, Richard, and Wallace Percival, and a number of great grandchildren.
