Cook-Off: The Old Macedonia Community Improvement Group will be sponsoring its annual All-Male-Cook-off on Saturday, March 7, at 6 PM. The event will be hosted at the Old Macedonia Enrichment Center, 200 Macedonia Road, North Augusta. The cook-off is held to support the 21st Century After-School Program that serves nearly 80 Edgefield County children in grades K-5 at Douglas Elementary . GOP Meeting: The Edgefield County GOP will meet Tuesday, March 10, at the Edgefield County Council Chambers located at 225 Jeter Street in Edgefield (behind the Courthouse). We will be conducting precinct business at this meeting as well as talking about regular business. Meeting will start at 7:00 pm with a social before that at 6:30 pm.
Shamrock Run/ Walk – Oyster Roast: The Town of Edgefield and the Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce will host the 9th annual Shamrock Run/Walk and Oyster Roast on Saturday, March 14.
