GREENWOOD, S.C. – Mrs. Vera Shealy Byrd, 89, of Greenwood, wife of the late Edward Earl Byrd, died Monday January 26, 2015 at Self-Regional Medical Center.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday January 28, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends after the service at the Graveside.

Mrs. Byrd was born in Little Mountain, S.C. and was a member of Lupo Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a Homemaker.

Survivors include 2 Sons- Chris (Sandy) Byrd, Danny Byrd; 2 Grandchildren- Crystal Byrd, Mary Jo (Terry) Carpenter; 5 Great-Grandchildren- McAllister Byrd, Addy Byrd, Cameron Carpenter, Hayden Carpenter, Caleb Carpenter.
