EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Rev. Dale Quarles, 71, of Edgefield, husband of the late Carol S. Quarles, died Wednesday January 7, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 10, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Lighthouse Fellowship with burial in Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield. A Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 A.M. before the service at the Church.
Rev. Quarles was born in Edgefield, S.C. and was the son of Edith Sharp Quarles and the late Hampy Hugh Quarles. He was the pastor of Lighthouse Fellowship Church and had retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass.
Survivors include his mother, 2 daughters- Melinda (Danny) Boone, and Angie (Bill) Shepherd; 5 Grandchildren- Ray (Rose) Bonne, Tiffney (Jeremy) Dyson, Katie Boone, Nicholas (Kaylee) Jackson, Travis (Chyanne) Jackson; 4 Great-Grandchildren- Emma, Abigail, and Kirk Jackson, Kipton Boone; 3 Brothers- Terry (Frances) Quarles, Keith (Lynn) Quarles, Troy (Becky) Quarles; 2 Sisters- Donna (Jim) Stewart, and Martha Quarles; and his beloved companion Coco. Rev. Quarles was predeceased by a son Michael Quarles, a daughter Lisa Quarles, and a grandson Daniel Bonne.
The family is at the home on North Martintown Rd., Edgefield.
