EDGEFIELD – Mr. Edward V. Elam, 56, of Moores Road, entered into rest May 20, 2012 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with the Rev. Leroy Robertson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include  his companion,  Mary E. Warren, Edgefield, SC; sisters, Lizzie Williams, Edgefield, SC; Nancy (Clarence) Gardner, Abbeville, SC and Mary Elam, Aiken, SC; brothers, David (Mary) Elam, Aiken ,SC; Freddie (Mary) Elam, Ridge Spring, SC; Bobby Elam, Aiken, SC and Francis M. Elam, North  Augusta, SC; aunt, Sallie Mae Thomas, North Augusta;  sisters-in-law, Inez Young Elam and Lucinda  Byrd Elam, Edgefield, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
