EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Mrs. Anna Clare Seigler Gilchrist, 89, of Gilchrist Rd., wife of the late T.B. Gilchrist, died Friday November 21, 2014.

Funeral Services will be held Monday November 24, 2014 at 2 P.M. at Rehoboth Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Gilchrist was born in Edgefield County and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. She was retired from the Greenwood Mills Durst Plant.

Survivors include 3 Daughters- Anna Mae (Roger) Ellis, Joyce (Jeff) Vickery, Doris (Buddy) Reeves; 2 Brothers- Andrew Seigler and Perry Seigler; 1 Sister- Virginia Carroll; 9 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Mrs. Gilchrist was predeceased by a daughter Elizabeth (Lib) Padgett.

The family is at the Padgett home on Gilchrist Rd. and will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
