The Edgefield County Delegation, comprised of SC Representatives Bill Clyburn and Bill Hixon and SC Senator Shane Massey, held a public meeting Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Edgefield County Council Chambers. The delegation heard from various county agencies among which included the Veterans Affairs Office, the County Transportation Committee, the SC Department of Transportation, all three of the county’s mayors, Chairman of County Council, and Will Williams of the Economic Development Partnership.

Highlights of the meeting included the election of Sen. Massey as Chairman of the Delegation, and news that the Hwy 25 widening project is expected to go out for bids in about a month.
