JOHNSTON, S.C. – Mrs. Ruby Cook Berry, 101 years old, of Johnston, S.C., wife of the late J. Broadus Berry, entered into eternal rest on Sunday October 19, 2014 in Saluda.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday October 22, 2014 at 2 P.M. at Harmony United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Berry was born in Prosperity, S.C. and was a member of Harmony United Methodist Church. She was a retired Textile Worker and a Homemaker. The family wishes to thank the Staff of the Saluda Nursing Center, Riley Wing for their devoted service to Mrs. Berry.

Survivors include 2 sons- Olin (Harriette) Berry, Robert (Amelia) Berry; 2 Daughters- Jean Smith, and Mary (Gary) Keller; 10 Grandchildren and16 Great-Grandchildren. Mrs. Berry was predeceased by a daughter Ann Vowell and a son Henry Berry.

Grandsons will be Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
