Dr. Vernon Burton, distinguished author and historian (In My Father’s House are Many Mansions) and native of Ninety-Six, S.C., brought a group of young people to Edgefield to visit the historic town. They dropped by The Advertiser for a photo. Dr. Burton explained that two of the young people are his grandchildren, his wife and the rest are parents (Dr. and Mrs. Terrence Finnegan) and their children.
