EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Mr. William Diggs Berry, of Garrett Road, entered into rest July 31, 2014. Funeral servies will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Oscar W.Brown officiating. Interment wil be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Berry, a native of Edgefield County was a member and deacon of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Beatrice Garrett Berry; a son, Rev. Winston (Allean) Oliphant, Johnston, SC; three sisters, Helen (Al) Thurmond, Columbia, SC, Gail Robinson and Michelle Robinson, Cleveland, OH; four brothers, James Diggs Berry, Edgefield, SC, Dr. Al (Alice) Robinson, Rev. James Terry (Cecila) Robinson, Cleveland, OH; and John Tracy (Dwan) Robinson; Columbus, OH; 6 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
