The Edgefield County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary call at a residence on Double Creek Road, Saturday, June 28, but according to the ECSO report, the crime could have been perpetrated as far back as June 13.
A broken kitchen window located on the side of the home is believed to be how thieves entered the residence. Once inside the home, electronics and multiple hunting items were taken. Those included such items as two televisions, four guns, a hunting bow in a case, two game cameras, a climbing stand, a range finder, and arrows. In all, the estimated amount of the items stolen was listed to be over $4,000.
Evidence was collected from this scene, and the ECSO investigative unit is investing this crime.
