TRENTON, S.C. – Mr. John Henry (Georgia Boy) Walker, Jr., 69, loving husband of Brenda Starr Walker, of Rock Creek Road, entered into rest June 17, 2014. Funeral services were held 1 p.m. Friday, June 20, at North Augusta Baptist Church with the Rev. Martin Ryans officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Walker, a native of Richmond County, was a member and trustee of North Augusta Baptist Church. He was an independent truck driver.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Priscilla Walker Colden (Jerome), Lisa Adkins Trobough (Terry) and Tammy Lynette Anderson Boggs (Judson); a son, Robert James Anderson (Penny); 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Mae Brunson (Yank) and Christine Overton; two brothers, Edward Walker (Rita) and Pete Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary, North Augusta, was in charge of arrangements.
