TRENTON, S.C. – Ms. Mary Jane Brooks, of Bettis Academy Ext., entered into rest May 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Shaws Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. G. L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include four daughters, April Brooks, Sandra Mealing, Trenton, SC, Samathia Martin, Mary Vann, Hephzibah, GA; six sons, Ronnie Brooks, Irvin Bibbs, Justin Richardson, Jerrod McBride, Trenton, SC, Eric Brooks (Sanciare), Columbia, SC and David Norris (Jackie), Aiken, SC; seven sisters, Allie Hammond (Barney), Orlando, FL, Barbara Danley (Robert), Beech Island, SC, Pluma Lee Washington, Rose Williams (Jacob), Trenton, SC, Cebelle Williams, Johnston, SC, Carrie Nicholson, North Augusta, SC and Georgia Waldo, Charlotte, NC; three brothers, Floyd Goodwin (Denise), Clarks Hill, SC, William Mathis (Annie Bell), Edgefield, SC and Jeff Mathis, Augusta, Ga.; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
