The Wardlaw Academy Chess team traveled to Sumter on April 1st to compete in the 2014 SCISA Chess Tournament. This year’s team included Vernon Reynolds, Chuck Hammond, Baylor Geer, Bryce Turner, Tres Yonce, and Kyle Vega. Leading this year’s team were Bryce Turner who finished 10th in the Lower School division and Tres Yonce who finished 6th in the Middle School division. Twenty-one schools and over 250 students attended the Tournament.
