EDGEFIELD – Mrs. Ruby D. Gillispie, 82, of Edgefield, SC died Friday, May 4, 2012 at National Health Care.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 11am at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel with Rev. Perry Shelfer and Rev. Sandy Heslop. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Born in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Horse Talley and Julia Bland Talley. She was a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. She had worked in the cafeteria at Doctor s Hospital.

She is survived by her husband of twenty four years, Hubert F. Gillispie, two sons, five daughters, one brother, one sister, fourteen grandchildren, and nineteen great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 7, 2012 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
