This year the Edgefield County Historical Society is once again sponsoring the Christmas Tour of Churches in Edgefield.  This annual event will be held on Sunday, December 11^th at 3:00 pm, beginning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  A walking tour will then proceed to the Edgefield First Baptist Church, Trinity Episcopal Church and the Edgefield United Methodist Church.  A bus will be provided for those who would rather not walk.  A brief program will be held at each church.  Afterwards the Society host a reception at Magnolia Dale.

After the reception at Magnolia Dale, a follow-on reception will be held at the Joanne T. Rainsford Discovery Center where the Society has a Christmas Shop.  Jeff Scott, noted regional musician from Aiken, will be provide entertainment while attendees shop for the wonderful variety of Christmas treasures in the Christmas Shop.
