Francis Harold Strom, 83 of Edgefield, died Friday morning, Nov. 4, in an automobile accident that occurred at approximately 10:30 on Faulkner Mountain Road about 16 miles east of the town of Edgefield.  According to the SC Highway Patrol, Strom was traveling east in his 2009 Mercury on Faulkner Mountain Road when he went off the left side of the roadway, struck a bridge guardrail, went down a ravine, and overturned in a riverbed.
