Antioch Sponsors Soul Surfer, “A Perfect Night on the Square”
The ECDA was extremely pleased with the turn out for our June Movie-on-the-Square. “We had over 150 individuals gathered around the square, participating in all the festivities and then watching Soul Surfer. Folks were sitting in chairs and spread out on blankets. It was a postcard scene!” These were the words of Theresa McMullin, ECDA President, when asked for a summation of the event.
“Debbie Sandifer from Aiken brought her granddaughter and her friend out and was pleasantly surprised at all the activities – her girls had so much fun – she said they would definitely be back to Edgefield” said Theresa. This was echoed by other families, one in particular who are in the midst of a move to Edgefield.
Sponsored by Antioch Baptist Church, McMullin noted that the strong leadership from this church. “Randy Jackson and the Antioch Baptist Church team do a superb job with the inflatables, corn-toss, and food. It was a perfect night on the square.”
She also gave thanks to David Coleman, Ronnie Carter, and their staffs for making the square a great place to gather!
