Edgefield County Council held a special called meeting Wednesday, Dec. 16 at which they unanimously voted to extend acting Interim Administrator Roger LeDuc’s contract for another two months. If a new administrator is not hired by the end of that term, the extension agreement will continue on a month to month basis unless either party gives a 15 day notice of ending the extension. In addition, under the new agreement, LeDuc has requested to come to the office only three days a week and to work about 20 hours a week. Hours and days in the office would be increased when needed.

The Advertiser was told Council will again take up the search for a new administrator after the new year.
