Wardlaw Academy’s Hammond Manly is the SCISA Class A Cross Country State Champion for 2015. Hammond ran the 5000 meter state championship event along the Congaree River last Saturday, finishing in a blistering time of 16:52:19, very close to two minutes ahead of the second place runner from Beaufort Academy. The Patriot junior is the son of Bill and Sherry Manly.
