EDGEFIELD, S.C. – Charles E. (Charlie) Hammond, Sr., 75, husband of Marie Cromer Hammond, died Tuesday November 10, 2015 at University Hospital.

Graveside services will be held Saturday November 14, 2015 at 11 AM at Peace Haven Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Hammond was born in Edgefield, S.C. and was a member of Peace Haven Baptist Church. He was a retired Machinist for ASCO in Aiken.

Survivors include his wife; 1 daughter Faye (Dennis) Jobs; 2 sons Eddie (Amanda) Hammond, Ernie (Shonda) Hammond and 10 Grandchildren.
