NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. – Funeral Services for Mrs. Vickey Ellis Barefoot, 71, who entered into rest October 14, 2015, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o’clock from Immanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Jimmy Coyle and Rev. Matthew Love officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Barefoot was a native of Edgefield having made North Augusta her home for the past 49 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. Mrs. Barefoot retired as a Realtor in the CSRA. She was a loving wife and mother who instilled a firm faith in the Lord in her family.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years Luke Barefoot; a son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Mariann Barefoot, Summerville, SC; two daughters and sons-in-law, Joy Lynn and Jeff Collins and Jill Suzanne and Donald Baxley, all of North Augusta, SC; three brothers, John Ellis, Roger Ellis and Mike Ellis, all of Edgefield, SC; two sisters, Sheryl Turner, Edgefield, SC and Brenda Doolittle, Martinez, GA; ten grandchildren, Jessica Collins, Jacob Collins, Brittany Barefoot, Danielle Barefoot, John Chritton, Mallory Chritton, Nick Baxley, Rose Baxley, Noah Rogers and Katey Rogers; one great-grandchild, Dani Chritton.

Pallbearers will be Dick Schaefer, Derve Tyler, Robbie Baxley, Ron McCallister, Robert Proctor and Eddie Hipp.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening from 6 until 8.
