WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – Mr. Raymond B. (Buddy) Dunovant, Jr. 81, husband of Margaret Timmerman Dunovant, of West Columbia died Thursday October 22, 2015 at his residence.

Graveside services will be Sunday October 25, 2015 at 2 PM at McKendree United Methodist Church Cemetery 565 Hwy 378 East, Edgefield, SC 29824.

Mr. Dunovant was the son of the late Raymond B. and Marie Slaughter Dunovant, Sr. and was a native of Edgefield County. He was a retired Operations Manager for Data Processing with S.C. Highway Dept. with over 37 years of service. He was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include his wife, 1 son Raymond B. (Dunnie) Dunovant, III and his wife Teresa; 1 Brother Dr. William (Billy) Dunovant and his wife Joanne; 2 Grandchildren Denise Dunovant and Raymond B. (Ray) Dunovant, IV.

The family is at the home and will receive friends Saturday October 24, 2015 from 4 to 6 PM at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel at 609 Northwood Rd. in Lexington, and also after the Service at the Family Life Center at McKendree United Methodist Church.
