JOHNSTON, S.C. – Jack Fleming Matheny, 87, husband of Willie Mae Rawl Matheny, died Friday, September 11, 2015.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, September 13, 2015 at 2 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home with burial in Eastview Cemetery.

Mr. Matheny was a native of Saluda County and was retired manager of Stroms Drug Store in McCormick. He was also a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife, 1 son William (Cindy) Matheny; 4 grandchildren Tonya (John) Colville, Alyson (Jamie) Jester, Suzanne Matheny, Brian Matheny; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Helen Holmes and special friends Tim & Donna Glover and JD & Sandy Wiggins.

The family is at the home of his son in McCormick and will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
