High School Diploma: Were you denied a High School Diploma because of the Exit Exam between 1990 and 2014?Act 155 eliminated the exit examination(BSAP/HSAP) as a requirement for receiving a high school diploma.

If you met all graduation requirements with the exception of the exit exam, you are eligible to petition for a high school diploma. Prostate Cancer Awareness Month: Edgefield County Hospital will be offering free PSA Screening tests in September to all men ages 50 and older(or ages 40-50 with family history of this cancer). Youth Poet Laureate: A competition for Youth Poet Laureate of Edgefield is open to any junior or senior in high school or homeschool equivalent. Student must be a resident of Edgefield County, must be enrolled for the academic year 2015-16, must have a teacher’s recommendation, and must submit an application with 3 original poems.
