The Edgefield County Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring several fun events during the coming months with proceeds supporting a scholarship fund. The Chamber will award a scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the three Edgefield County high schools. The sum of this monetary award will be determined by funds received through our Chamber events. We ask that you share in making this scholarship program a success by supporting these events with your participations. If you cannot participate but are interested in this project you may still support it with a donation of any amount.

The first event is September 16 — Par 3 Golf Tournament at Pine Ridge Club. It is set for 6:30 p.m., a 2-person team, nine hole tournament, registration includes tournament, cart and meal.

The second event is September 26 – Oyster Roast/Hot Dogs and Chili for Land Lubbers (All You Care To Eat), 5:30-7:30, ON the Square in Historic Edgefield. Sponsors are being solicited, and please contact the Chamber Office on or before September 4 to support the event through a sponsorship.
