AUGUSTA, Ga. – Ms. Betty J. Mitchell Davis, of Linderwood Court, entered into rest July 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, July 31, 2015 at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens.

Ms. Davis, a native of Edgefield County, was a 1972 graduate of Strom Thurmond High School and a 1976 graduate of Voorhees College. She was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Carl (Felicia) Davis II and Mitchell D. Davis; her mother, Mattie M. Cook Mitchell; two brothers, Genovesi G. Mitchell and Matthew S. (Jackie) Mitchell; three sisters, Ora Mae Allen, Lorraine Withers and Vannette James; one granddaughter, Cambree E. Davis; a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
